My father restored a late 40's or early 50's WD. Where can I find out it's value ? It has dual wheels, and is parade ready ! Where should I advertise it for sale to get a fair price from fellow enthusiasts ?

Thanks for your help.

Many many factors come into play and if it is a true restore or just a paint job. Sorry a paint job IS NOT a restored any thing. To restore it to bring it back to what it was the day it rolled out of the factory period.. Hard to price something with out seeing it and hearing it etc

I meaning of the word "restored" varies greatly from one person to the next. I have had people call me on the phone wanting to sell me a restored tractor. When I go to look at the tractor, nine times out of ten, the brakes don't work. The gauges are broken or painted over, lots of play in the steering, and the lights, tool box, etc is missing.

And they want twice what it's worth because they saw on on an online auction bring $$$.

Best i can tell you is to look at WD prices on external_link. And compare the condition of the sheetmeatal and tires. I can't say that having duals on a WD will really add much to it's value.
