AC B axle bushing

I have replaced the king pin bushings on two AC b"s and have found that I need to ream the bushings to get the king pin to fit back in , is that your experience?

That's a heck of an idea Steve! The only time I had that to do I used a brake cyl hone, and it just expanded enough. I like that alternative.

yea, your not talking about a piston bore.. This is not rocket science... just a couple thousandths and it will fit. If you go a few thousandths too big, it makes no difference !

Ted, what year model B do you have? On my '39 model B I have no bushing, only a large steel washer welded to the wishbone axle. This & the axle has, of course, worn into an oblong hole over time & I'm now working with a machine shop to fabricate a bushing to fit in the axle after he reams it out round again. Just curious,
