What is it?

Any clues what this is? We have walked past it 500 times,
hanging in the eaves of an outbuilding...took it down to look.
Mounts on the 3 pr hitch of a 100 series massey...model and
serial# are too faded to read, has never been on a tractor...
Who can help?

Might be something for a pressure control hitch.

That is the pressure control hitch used for weight transfer on pull type implements. Dad had one we used on his 180 when we knifed in anhydrous ammonia. Really helped traction when used correctly.

It is a pressure control hitch used for weight transfer with pull type implements we had one on a 175 and it worked pretty well
