D17 white side panel

Bought a d17 series 1 I believe today. It has white side panels below gas tank on both sides. One on right has a Allis decal on the lower left corner. Are these factory I have never seen another with them? I'd post a pic but can't figure it out right now.

There is no white panel UNDER the gas tank. The Series III would have white on the hood panels and extending to the side of the gas tank. SN 42001 and above- sn is on left side of clutch housing, just to rear of engine....starts with D17...
