Witte model b Carb

So I finally have my motor almost torn apart and down to having the carb stuck in the head. I had one person tell me that if I try and get the carb out I will either break it off flush with the head or I will strip the threads out of the head (not sure on that one). But since I have to get to the little throttle plate, since it is very stiff, any suggestions on getting it out? I have tried putting some heat on the head at the threads, but either I didn't put enough on or it is too much metal and it didn't budge. I guess the worse case scenario is I cut it off and thread the inside of the carb and the inside of the carb that is still in the head and screw it together with an adapter inside. It would restrict the flow of air, but would it restrict it to the point that it wouldn't run right? I am all ears.

Thanks.
