What can you guys tell me about the 2675.I found one with 3600 hrs and it appears to be really clean. How much hp does this tractor have? The add says it has a 24 spd partial powershift. Is there anything I should know before hand? iam going to pull a 5x18's and a 24ft field cultivator.

84 hp on the drawbar.

Depends on soil type and how you like to work land. On our sandy loam that tractor is too small for 5 by 18" and much too small for a 24' cultivator. We pulled 6 by 14" for years with a 2705 (100 hp db) and it was (in my opinion) too slow. Could only pull at 3 or so mph. When I set that plow to 18" and hooked it up to my Case 2590 I found out that it plows much better at 5 mph.

I also pull 5 14's with an MF 3505 and that is a pretty good match for our soil. The 3505 is the same power (almost the same tractor with multi power instead of power shift) as the 2670.

The 2675 has a great engine, the 354, good hydraulics, 3ph, nice cab, good steering. That series of tractors are notorious for the transmissions which were prone to failure and are very expensive to fix. If you search around this forum you will fine many an horror story. I'll be digging in to my 2705 transmission this winter.

Good Day,

The 3 speed power shift is nice when it works, but can be a pain. The intermediate speed clutch is spring applied, and oil pressure released when either low or hi clutch pack is applied with oil pressure. Dad's 2705 had seal trouble, was told recently new type seals have corrected the trouble of seals melting and causing 2 clutches trying to apply at once, witch burns them up. Have had 4 2000 series apart for clutch pack trouble, at least it's not as hard as an IH torque that needs 2 splits.
