I removed the moter ( everything for that matter) and am doing a "frame off restoration" of my grandpas 101jr. Put the tthottle plate back on ( it is in the exact postion it came off from - I punched marks to mate back to) , i hooked the linkage to the carb/gov back up . I moved one of the adjustments on the linkage. I move the throttle " thru" the throttle plate and notice it will not go into the twin power sector not the sector at the other end ( low idle??). it goes thru the normal sector just fine. I do not have it running yet.
Is this normal? does the tractor have to be running to get into the upper and lower sector? I know the twin power worked before I took it apart.
