Tecumseh HH80 oil blowing out crankcase vent

HH80 Tecumseh driving generator, blowing oil mist out of the crankcase vent hose. I once unscrewed the dipstick while running and was amazed at the oil vapor under pressure that shot out. It doesn't smoke though. I cleaned out the crankcase when one of the valve spring retainers let go. I installed a new case gasket, no seals. Crank vent valve clean and installed the right way, I think. Otherwise, a easy starting, smooth running ol'motor. What would cause the oil vapor out the vent and pressure in the crank case? Thanks

If you are getting vapor out the vent, then the vent is obviously working properly. Excessive pressure in the crankcase is generally caused by worn or stuck compression rings. Presently, the vent is able to handle the pressure, eventually it will likely start smoking.
