Yesterday I and two friends attended a sale just north of Tulsa,OK..It was a 380 mile round trip..There were about 75 tractors on the sale, mostly from the 1940's and 50's...Most of the tractors sold poorly..
I got the tractor that I wanted...It was a nice running 1945 Massey Harris 101 Senior Standard with straight sheet metal and decent tires..
My friend Robert picked up a nice running ZA MM for about half of what it was worth....You can see it on the rear of the trailer...Thats Robert on the right and Lyle on the left..We could have easily bought a dozen more tractors...
There was about a dozen 2N,9N,and 8N fords there that sold for $300-500 each..Quite a few ran..Running H Farmalls with good tires were bringing $450 each..
