The 275 is leaking hyd. oil where the pto lever is. Looks to be a stub shaft going into the trans. and leaking around the O-ring. Do you need to remove the trans./lift cover to get access to some plumbing etc, so you can remove the small cover where the pto lever is?

Yes, lift cover must be removed for line access on back side of PTO shift cover before it can be removed.

Hi, its rare to have a leak from there. Check to make sure that the transmission is not over-filled.

In addition, check that all the bolts on the cover are snug. I've had one to work loose and start leaking, snugged it up and leak stopped. Your mileage may vary.
