I am planning to put trimec down on lawn tonight. I have some creeping charlie and dandelions to get rid of.

How does it behave on evergreen trees?

IMO Trimec Classic is the best you can buy.I've used it for almost 40 years. It's like any other 2-4-D.It will wilt evergreens and rose bushes. You have to be careful of the drift.

Why are you waiting till tonight to spray?

Good Luck.

Best broadleaf product on the market bar none. it will kill both dutch and yellow clover, plantain, and most kind of small leaf thistle. Most golf courses rely on Trimec to keep the fairways clean of weeds. Do not spray on trees or flowering shrubs and be careful with application when the combined temp and humidity are over 150. It will yellow most lawn grasses for a few days if this is not followed. I have used this product in lawn maintenance, gardening business for over 30 years. Migraine

Read the label. If it is a contact herbicide it won"t harm the plant unless yuo spray it directly on the plant (usually the leaves). If it is systemic herbicide it will be absorbed by the roots.
