dang kruser, you hogged all the rain again!

2 3/4 inches here today
1 3/4 here yesterday
about the only flooding we had here was where the corn stalks plugged up the culverts. Even though they did let alot of water out the dam in clinton.

Dang, folks, a few months ago I offered to share the rain we were getting, but honestly, I didn"t have anything to do with that! Always makes me nervous to cross a bridge with water lapping at the bottom of the pavement.

around 5"+ in at least the central and north Illinoiz!

I din't figure that pretty face in the mirror was the one I REMEMBER......just sayin

Wife told me the flood gates are being put in at Hannibal, and the bridges across the Mississippi at Quincy are near closing. She said river levels in that area are like '93 and '08 flood stages.

Sounds like you came up a little short, you can have some of mine.
1 1/2" on Wed.
2" at 5am Thursday
2.4" when I got home from work.
Chris

Same type of pictures in central Indiana. 2.6 inches last Tuesday. 3.2 inches yesterday evening till midnight.

Kruser, you may want to pick some of these up for the family.

The latest central Illinois fashion statement.

The bridges at Alexander MO/Keokuk IA and Louisiana MO are closed, the old bridge at Quincy is closed but traffic is being rerouted over the Bayview Bridge. US 67 is close south of Macomb IL and US 136 is closed seven miles west of Macomb. This was about 2:00PM Friday.
