That brings back memories, as a lot of your old pics do. Was pretty much the way we were raised thru the 40's and 50's.. Add ten or fifteen milk cows and a couple hundred chickens and 10 sisters and that was life back in southern Ia. We had no money but we were rich.

Great photo. Reminds me of my grandparents hogs... well-fed. My dad always kept his hogs fairly lean by comparision - he thought they had larger litters and birthed more easily when kept on the lean side.
