quite a collection

While at my friends house today,we walked over to see his neighbor. He is a young fellow about 30, I was talking to him about the tractor site, and asked him if I could take some pictures for the site,so here they are!
He was glad I told him the can he had over the exhaust on his farmall fell off.

That is a lot of treasures hiding there. Don't think I'd live long enough to try to restore them all, but its worth a try.

Who's hand is on the car hood in the last pic??? Are you trying to buy that from him? Is it a elcamino??? Lol nice pics.

Another guy who buys stuff drags it home parks it out back and lets it rust. Some people have money than brains.

OMG! I would probably still be there running around saying, "Hey, c'mere and lookit this!" The guy needs to sell some of the stuff so he can get money to restore some of the other. The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia and the Volkswagen "Thing" are very collectible. Thanks for posting, Larry, although I become very nostalgic when I see such.

Is that an MF70 backhoe or it's big brother the MF80? They were good big machines. My former neighbor had a couple MF70's, about 18,500lbs.

Like the cub, the crawler, the red van/truck and the rusty El Camino/Ranchero (whatever it is - rusty is always good).

I cant really say,but he was interested in our site, and didnt mind me taking some pictures,it was nice talking with him,I enjoyed it. I know him for a while,I went to the Kempton PA consignment auction one time with him and my friend,so I was not a stranger to him.

I keep telling my wife that when she dies I'm going to start buying up a yard full of treasure like that. She keeps telling me that our daughter is going to check on me very regularly to make sure that I don't.

Isn't that a '64 or'65 el camino ? My dad had one, a '65 white, 4 spd, not sure what small block was in it. Thinking back to those days, that sure as a long time ago.

VW's are cool, vaguely remember those, know someone who has a "Thing".

Quite a few vehicles and tractors in the herd, and gathering the "herd" is the easy part LOL, being able to do something with each sure takes motivation, lots of money and some other things I have forgotten LOL !

Yes, '65. But look at the second picture of the crawler, which is nice, in the distance, can't make out if thats a Camaro or a Cuda or Challenger. Big block or Hemi, depending, and fond memories.
