Stuck piston!

The ATF and Acetone mix tends to separate--ATF and Diesel stays more homogeneous and works just as well.

See if you can get some rifle bore cleaner from an Army surplus store or outlet. works over night!

GO AHEAD And laugh but PHILLIPS milk of magnisum will go through a stuck piston like it goes through you learned this 40 yrs ago ,it works

Take a borescope light and look into each cylinder to see how much rust is there. If it doesn't have much rust I would soak the pistons with atf then jack up a rear wheel and put the tranny in the highest gear and rock the tire to see if the fan moves. If there's a lot of rust in the cylinders you probably need to pull the head and oil pan. Then pour kerosene on top of a piston and set it on fire. Make sure you remove anything flammable around the engine. Don't do this near any building. Remove the rod cap on the piston you heated and use a piece of 2 X 2 oak and a big hammer and try to drive out the piston holding the oak against the rod. Hal

Been doing stuck engine for years and if you look in the archives you will see I post all the time on them. I use 100% ATF if the exhaust has been covered if not no snake oil will free one up due to the fact water has rusted them so tight nothing will free them up. Done well over 20 so far and only 2 or 3 did not free up

As the other post say look in the spark plug hole to see how much rust is on the walls and if they are rusty remove head and go from there as it doesent take much rust to stick them fast hard.
