Did you see the RARE Blue and Grey 8N with $8K restoration on Ebay for $3500? Comes with 12V conversation so you don't get lonely while mowing and a boy scout project yellow wire harness. Hey it's a nice looking tractor, my point is RESTORATION should mean something and that ain't it.

Never heard of an 18' dovetail and looks like a 16 ft to me.

That's the kind of answer I was looking for.

Thanks,

Ok, went and looked at the sight for the fun of it, but got confused - states No Reserve, Have Fun Bidding, but starting bid is 3499.00???? and no bids so far????? Thought no reserve meant they sold no matter what the price is, how low that is..... ..... .

No reserve means just that, it will well for any bid, though the seller has the right to set the opening bid on Ebay. He could set a low opening bid and set the reseve at $3500 also.

Let's see...paint is not original, seat is not original, headlights are not original, grill is not original, not 6 volt (how about that wiring harness?), and shouldn't that side distributor model have script fenders? So it's not a "restoration", but it has potential. Sheet metal looks good, and if it runs good it could be a $2,500 - $3K tractor around here.

Does have an original bumper.

I think the headlights look just like the plastic ones sold at TSC for $9 (except painted).

Am I missing something or is the safety starter button missing? With a 8K resto you would probably think it would be done right(other than the paint being wrong)But other than that it looks pretty straight.
Have a good'N

"live PTO, hydraulic lift and power takeoff."???

I like the inaccurate redundancy. Sure is pretty, but doesn't one of the good sponsors on this board sell a restored N in the correct colors for less than 8K?

Because that's the only color he could get the seat?
