anyone know where one may find tractor umbrella spring clips for umbrella repair

No, but I have used a piece of baling wire for a repair. Lay the wire in the slot and then bend it around the strut, if you take your time you can twist the wire and collapse the strut again. Think a heavy paper clip.

It would help if you could tell us the make of umbrella and post a pic. i have got a scrap umbrella I kept just for parts.
