There's a few Gaar Scotts around here, but you don't see a whole lot of Greyhounds do you?

rrlund,
Only Grey Hound that either me or my husband had ever seen. Wish we could have heard it running.

How'd the other post get so wide? Anyways, here's one of my three Gravelys - 432, I also have a 430 and a 8183T. Pop likes the 432 the best ( He just turned 89 ).

I was going to suggest the Gibson, Gilson, Gar-Scott, but don't have pictures of any of them. And one of my friends has a nice running condition Gar-Scott, Has thrashed our oats with it several years.

I remember those days as a kid, Most of the one I saw were drove on and the back wheels hanging down, but the header still on. that was in about 1950 +.

Did you know the Gibson was made in Longmont,Colorado?they used mostly vendor parts. The factory burned to the ground in'48,all records were lost along with most other'paperwork'.

Gleaner combine - took some guts to load that!
You ain't kiddin'!!!
I would love to think they loaded it with a crane, but then how would they unload it?
Do what you gotta do I guess!

Well Sweet Feet,
I missed the Fords last night but I can tell you that more than once I was sure I had a GOD D----
Tractor.
Does that count?

The Greyhound tractor was an Allis-Chalmers 20-35 E model with different radiator castings and paint. They were made by Allis for the Banting Company of Toledo, OH who were big dealers of Allis equipment.

Just by chance, if anyone doesn't know, the Graham-Bradley tractors were sold by Sears, Roebuck and Co.They were manufactured in the Bradley implement works, (later known as David Bradley) and the six cylinder engine was the same engine used in Graham-Paige automobiles. Very slick looking tractors for the time.

Ultra Dog,
Great picture! Sure does count. Nice tractor. Probably every guy Gol Darns their tractor at some point... depending on the day it is either it is Gol Darn good one, or a Gol Darn hunk of junk.

I don't have anything against Fords either (except a Ford car that had a mysterious power loss problem). Just an attempt to be witty.
