Can anyone give me pointers on how to remove the rear wheel hub from the axel. I have made a puller and heated the hub and no luck getting it off.This is on a Minniapolis U.

There are no real pointers. These things are tough. Heat, and that's difficult because the hub is cast and big. Hydraulic jack power, a little impact. Repeat, repeat, repeat. There's no easy formula. Sorry.

My Dad and I was working on a tractor hub many years ago, about the time WD40 was new. BE VERY VERY CAREFULL.....We heated, and heated and heated, the last time Dad got mad and said stand back. He hit it big time with WD40. IT SMOKED, and popped lose. I have done the same thing with bolts. BE CARFULL.

Did you spray the axel or the hub with WD40
