Need Track Parts!!

I believe the chains are Italian made. Maybe "Bercoli" or something like that???

But, here's my problem. I have a set of SALT chains on my D3-B.

The bone-head workers broke the bolts in the splice link [ looks like a saw tooth] instead of trying to take it apart they torched one side. It burned out the lubricant on the SALT bushings of both sides of the torched splice link.

I'd like to repair it, but need advice on how & what I need. I bought the chains from "Crawler Heaven" but can't reach him. I'm up at the rice farm and only have this cell phone. I can't post on the forum on the "Crawlers & Dozers" with this phone.

The chain number that I can see is" 040/TR LH . It is the left hand chain that is broken. I need to know what I need to fix it and where to get it?

Blessings!

I'd guess they are Trek undercarriage that is now owned by a Korean outfit. It's DCH or something like that, I can't remember. That's what I put on my 931B. I think most aftermarket undercarriage is made the same size as the OEM.

That would be Berco chain....

If they didn't actually torch the rails of the connector link then you should be able to repair the seal kits in the chain by pressing it apart and renewing the seals. Honestly I've never had one apart so I can't give you details there.... but I know it can be done.
If they've actually torched the master link I dunno what you're going to do unless Berco could supply some new parts.

Thanks! I"m afraid they ruined the master link. It"s loose! Stick Weld, the number you gave me does not work. Can you please te-check?

We can probably help you with that. Give me a call at 315-288-5307. Also see if you can get a name and or part # off the link. This will help in ensuring you get the correct parts. Steve. www.pdmechanical.com
