Briggs and Stratton 16HP Wiring diagram

I just purchased a used Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 16HP engine to put on my lawn mower that had a Kawasaki engine on it. I cannot seem to find a wiring diagram to wire it so everything works correctly. Does anyone have this information, or can point me in the right direction to finding it? Thank you in advance. Also, if anyone knows the thread and pitch for the crank bolt that would be great also.

Goto ebay & search item# 160445087382,this is a cd that covers all briggs eng,in the vangard manual will be info on how to id alt stator & weather same use's unregulated/regulated output(briggs used 7 different alt stators on vanguard),as you may need a rectifer/reg or inline diode harness for same(diode lead was sometimes part of orig tractor wiring harness) depending on alt stator on eng, manual will also cover ign system, early vanguards used a 3 term quick disconnect block mounted on #1 cyl with doides in same for coil connections/kill lead, later models had a Y patch lead that connected between coils & orig tractor wiring harness, which you may/may not have with eng, manual will show you both systems & connections of each

When dad wanted to put a 15hp kohler where an 18
Briggs used to be, I wrote down the model#'s of the
tractors & found a site with complete manuals for
those 2 models, compare /contrast the wiring & wa-
la. On a side note, the 15 kohler is twice the
motor of the briggs. He can mow pasture with it
now... It also seems to go like Heck. We figured
the single cyl engine has a higher RPM than the twin
Briggs did... thus you can mow tall stuff & finish
an hour before you start. LOL

As an add onto 1st reply,if kawasaki eng had sol mounted on starter motor,it probably had a plunger/fork lifting mech for starter drive,if this is the case you'll have to add a sol for starter & mount on eng/tractor frame & connect battery/starter and lead from safety sw's to coil of same

Thanks for the help on everything guys. I am pretty sure I have everything I need. The last thing I need to know is does anyone know the thread and pitch on the bolt that goes into the crank? This is all I am lacking, and cannot seem to find this anywhere. You guys always seem to know so I figured I would ask. Thanks in advance.
