Looking at a 135?

Just looked at a rough looking----?135 diesel? Possible to buy at approx. scrap price $500-$600. When I looked at it I'd swear it had 24" rear tires. When I look at tractordata they all show 28" rears. Did I get my numbers mixed up?

Anything in particular to check before possible purchase?

Does it run? The 135 is a very well liked tractor, I guess it depends on what you would have to put into it vs. what it could/would be worth. Pictures?

14.9x24 is common size for 35 Utility or 202 series, float a bit better over soft soil

Haven't seen any 135's going for around 6 and if I did the rears would not be a factor. Gonna look on my CL!!

Just got home from purchase and it looks like it might be a MF230 #9A336957 which might be a 1980 year. The tires are 16.9x24" and the flat one is low, not stone flat. There were some men at the garage sale when I went back and they said it'd probably run with a battery. $600 cash.

I'm moving to the Massey forum.
