How's the crops

Been a little dry here, SW WI/NE IA, we finally got a little rain to perk things up! My first crop hay was a little lighter than I liked but with some moisture hoping second will be better! I deliver fuel so see lots of farmers on both sides the Mississippi, some are replanting a few fields of corn because of the frost the other week! Hope all is well in your part of the world!

Neighbors corn is water logged due to 24'' of rain this yr with over 1/2 this rainfall amount in the last 45 days. The height of his corn is boot top high to 6' tall. I'm ready for some sunshine!

Been a funny year in Michigan. Been dry, no doubt about that. Got the corn in fairly early, but it was so cold, it took a long time to come up. It turned hot then. Corn came up for the most part, but there were spots where it was so dry it didn't sprout. We got an inch and a half of rain last week in half inch increments, the rest of the corn sprouted, then we got frost. It's warming up again, but the corn is awful yellow. I don't think it killed any, but it sure set it back.

Hay's stunted from being so cold and dry, but hopefully with this little bit or rain and some heat, it'll take off. The big dairies and a few people with no patience have cut, but I'm letting it grow. If we don't start getting decent rains to bring the second cutting back, this might be all we get, so no sense getting ahead of myself.

Crops look excellent in mid western Ontario, thanks to 3/4 inch rain last night. Corn is 6 inches tall, was on the yellow side but rapidly growing now with the moisture and heat. Soya are all up, the rain helped the late emerges. Coloured beans are pretty well all in and will be up shortly with today's heat. Winter wheat is heading, about a week early, looks like a heavy but bit shorter crop. Dairy guys have finished haylage and are also glad to see the rain. Now we have weeds to tackle!

We had a cool and very wet April and May..My neighbors corn planted 2 months ago should be waist high or taller..The low spots aren't even a foot tall..Its finally getting dry enough that he will get some N on it...That and the 80 degree temps should make it take off..Theres lots of hay to bale and beans to plant in my area....Next week is supposed to be wet.

Unless it stops raining the hay will be past its prime by the time we can cut and bale it
