Long morning

Went to pay my fertilizer bill. Coop is closed, building locked down, says mail it in to drop in a drop box. But no idea where a drop box is, no directions. Bill says on top top it is due May 30th don’t know if the mail will get it there; but the bottom of the bill says fert is deferred until June. I don’t have a cell phone so can’t call on the spot, places don’t ever have any options for folk with no sell phone.

Went to the bank with the stimulus check we got this week, gal at the drive through says can’t deposit it, as both our names are on the check, and don’t have a joint account at that bank. Had to go round and round to get somewhere, and wife had signed the check, she was sitting right there with me. In the drive through lane bacause the bank isn’t open. Been depositing our tax return check for 20 years, never an issue.

Wife says let’s get back to the farm where it’s not such a crazy world.

Neighbor woman used to work at the bank. She said they used to take two party checks with only one person present and on the account, then some guy cashed a tax refund check after his wife had left, unbeknown to the gals at the bank. The wife came in wanting to know where her half of the refund was, threatened to sue, so she said no more checks cashed that way.

Wish I could say I don't understand but I to had a ruff day. First off had to take a tire in to get it repaired. First place would be 2-3 hours. Second place pretty much the same. 3rd place about 15 minutes.

Then to the bank to take care of some stuff for my mom. Sit as the drive threw fr 30 minutes and notice the car is getting hot. So I had to call them so some one could come out the front door with the $$ for my mom.

Then had to go to Walmart to get the $$ back on tire repair. Come back out and car would no start. So since I was on hill I just got it rolling and popped the clutch but even then it was being a pain

Go to another store for some things but they did not have what I was looking for. So I go out to start the car and it starts and then dies and every thing is dead. Pop the hook and some how the battery + post had shorted to the hood and burned up the battery post. So called the insurance company for a tow and was told 45 minute wait so walked to a near by store for a new cable end. Got it fixed and call insurance company and it take me 30 minutes to cancel the tow
