Soybean moisture

I have a small John Deere moisture tester. I am looking for the easiest way to get the beans out of the pods to check the moisture. When I
check the corn I just throw a couple of ears in the hand sheller, this is my first year with beans. Thanks for any help, Mark.

2 buckets, paint stirrer and cordless drill. Make a good paddock sample maker of oats wheat barley beans milo. Throw couple hand fulls in bucket. Guve a wizz with paint stirrer to thrash it then tip from 1 bucket to other a couple of times slowly hopefully bit of wind to blow chaff out. An old party trick a bloke showed me one day
