We have been plenty wet, went to other place on June 21st to check if tenant had beans in yet. It was raining real hard when we got there, I thought bottom ground might have been in but didn't go check up on top. I'm guessing they went in on 19 or 20th. Went down to lookover today and still a few wet spots. Two buck deer seemed to be enjoying the new leaves.

Wow, shadows! I don't remember a full day of sun. In months.

Very wet around here, lot of us were hoping to replant by the 4th, but another 1/2 inch over night, and the heavy stuff hasn't gotten to my part of Minnesota yet. Relatives 20 miles west of me have had couple feet of water ponds in their fields for three weeks now, goes down a little, rains and right back up. Their home farm, been their over 60 years and said they've never seen it like this.

Spraying and hay has been impossible.

I hear central Iowa got pounded over night, 10 inches, much flooding.

We are 40 miles south and east of Indy, they were talking drought for 2 months. We have had only a couple of weeks without rain. When we went down on the 21st it was raining as we headed down there and to a tractor show, rained all day and that evening had 2-1/2 in gauge next morning had 4". I think the show got rain every day. Some places west of the farm has had the 4 and 6" kind. Wheat may come off here at home today.
 
I hear local rain gauges are running 1.4" to 2.4" still raining, but just about done.

My relatives 20 miles west of me, if you take away June 1st and add July 1st, in the past month have now averaged a half inch a day for the past month.

That is rain forest type rains, and we are on heavy clayish soils.

Just a disaster.

I saw whitecaps in the fields over there yesterday, before last nights rains.
