volunteer corn in beans

so I have some volunteer RR corn in my RR beans I want to spray. trouble is the land is rented and going to crp this fall. anyone know what I can spray that wont have carry over? local coop said assure II/Targa but that's 120 day carry over so that wont work. little miffed with the coop as they knew I wanted to do a radish cover crop and had me spray Verdict on corn and Sonic on beans so limited on my cover crop this fall other than maybe wheat.

is there any carry over on any of those? it's not my land or crp acres so don't want to mess it up for the guy doing the crp.

I know how we did it when I was a kid,no spray involved. One sharp corn hook,or knife. It really does not take long to go through a field.

ya we did it that way too. remember doing milkweeds also. I mentioned that to son and he laughed at me. Tapout(a Helena product) is what was also recommended. 30 day carry over so should work in this case.

Tapout is the same chemistry as Select and Poast. Or supposed to be. I have not had the same success with tapout in regards to volunteer wheat in fall seeded alfalfa.

seems to me I tried tapout couple years ago for some grass in alfalfa and worked pretty good. guess i'll give it a try. at this point i'd take rain over anything.

I use a product called Fusilade for volunteer corn in beans. Does a good job on the corn, but I'm not sure about carry over potential.

Fusilade says no other crop planted 60 days after application, Fusion says no grass crops for 60 days, neither should be a problem in soybeans intended for grain production.
