Greenhouse setup

I have a greenhouse frame a friend gave me last fall. I believe its a 9x16 or a little bigger. Uses the thick mil plastic sheeting for the roof/walls.

Thinking about setting it up this summer and getting ready for fall/winter use. I would like to automate the heating and ventilation.

Would it be possible to setup a hvac programmable thermostat to control vent fans, and some sort of electrical heater?

Has anyone done similar, or have any tips? Thanks

A green house fan thermostat can be had for under $100. Made specifically for this. There are also sping operated or solar vents, not sure if
your panels could be adapted for these. The first year a 55 gallon drum filled with water can be used as a heat sink to keep nighttime
temperatures swings not as drastic. Depending on your winter temperatures this could possibly extend your growing season.

I have used those auto lifters before, had a mind of their own! Was the cheapy ones though. I'll have to look into those fans. Thought might could control heat too.read a rubble bed inside greenhouse would act like a heat sink too. Might need some electric for the colder nights during winter. Looking to grow transplants for spring.
