700 acres has come up for custom farming. Pros and cons? Son does not have enough equipment to do this right now but with my brothers help would be doable. Son does work off farm. Not black soil. I understand not having the risks of the input costs for a young person starting out but what about the time demands of the owners, replant etc. In one way, it would be easier making your own decisions. Anyone doing this?
