So the weather guessers say no rain till next Saturday. So I plan to cut hay today or tomorrow depending on how the ground looks. We got 2.5 inch of rain on Friday so the ground maybe to wet yet to cut any hay down.

This will be my second cutting for the year. Going ot have to find some place to put the hay if I get very much more. Hay barn might hold another 15 of so bales if even that many. May even do a couple hundred square bales

There was a light sprinkle this morning, didn't get the sidewalk all wet but didn't help dry anything. Mostly cloudy today. Should rain heavy Wednesday, and rain more days than not following that through the weekend.

I raked some hay I cut a few days ago yesterday afternoon, was getting spots of moisture on the tires like raking in a dew. Some of the hay got an inch plus of rain on it, cut it 4 days ago. Other is pretty green, cut it right after the rain, was sitting in water more or less. I had to rake it to get it up and out of the stubble it was matted into, now it's a windrow and dries less than if it were spread. Tedders are uncommon here, I guess this woulda been the year.....

We are getting worried about getting harvest going here, mostly corn and beans around here, it is just soaking wet out there, walked the con fields yesterday and the ground was sticky, even with no rain for 2 days, there is no drying power, high humidity. Silage has been a miserable experience for those that need to, and sweet corn well they have custom equipment that will get it out no matter what but your field will look like heck from it!
