Spray conventional corn an beans?? what spray??

Got some conventional corn and soybeans that are getting some grass and weeds in them. I have a sprayer but have never sprayed anything conventional before just fertilizer an roundup. Was wondering what I can use on them to get rid of the grass and weeds that are coming. Corn is knee to waist high and beans are knee high. Thanks !!

Probably not much of anything unless you're a certified applicator.

Too tall for a conventional sprayer and may even be too late from a yield loss standpoint. Any commercial applicator with a high boy sprayer can recommend a rescue spray at this point, but you have already suffered a substantial yield loss in the corn, and rate high enough to kill well established weeds in beans will have an bad effect on the beans. Expect to pay about $12 an acre for application and up to $
50 for the herbicide. Early weed control is a must, and has just about the highest payback of any field operation. Good luck. Ben

Corn you are done for, conventional its real hard to kill grass in corn after its up without killing the corn - which is a grass. Broadleaves you would need drop nozzles, you hurt the corn with conventional broadleaf herbicides in the whorl by now.

Select or several generics work very well to kill grasses in beans, I'm not sure if you are getting pretty late to use it would have to look at label? Broadleaves there ain't much that will touch them in beans by now, too late in the season. Cobra would but it will about kill your beans this late, anything else that would work will carry over too much for next years crop.

Need to spray the beans about a month ago, and corn at the 5 leaf stage or get someone with a highboy and drop nozzles.

You are just too late.

Grass in beans is easy..use poast or cletheruum(sp) grass in corn is going to be tuff

When I had conventional corn I used Accent and Northstar, but it sounds like your corn is to big for it now. Cultivator might work yet.
