Dual II magnum

Can I use Dual II mag. preplant in soybeans? I have a weed control guide and according to it you can but I'm not sure. Was looking to use Me Too Lachlor II which is just a generic Dual II. I'm Sure you can use regular Dual in soys but I don't know about the II? Book has Dual II Mag listed for corn, sorghum, and soybeans, it has Me Too Lachlor II listed for corn and popcorn. And regular Me Too Lachlor listed for sorghum and soybeans. Whats the difference between dual and dual II? Anybody that could shine a little light on this would be greatly appreciated!

Dual 2 or Brawl 2 has a safener in it. I use Matador on my beans (Dual-Pursuit-Sencor)sprayed over the top after planting.

do you think dual 2 would hurt beans if sprayed preplant incorporated? I know the Me Too L 2 has a safener for corn in it but im just not real sure what it'd do to beans!

It is labeled for pre-plant incorporated in soybeans at 2 inches of depth. They always told us the incorporation depth was one half the tillage depth so if the disk or digger is operating at 4 inches the chemical will be incorporated at
2 inches.

I used Me Too Lachlor II and 24d preplant on soybeans this year. I had it leftover from planting corn. I did not get good germination on the beans. I planted about 10 days after spraying. I don't know if is was the spray mix or because we cad some cool and damp weather that caused the poor germination. I had to replant 3 weeks later and that planting came out great.

Thanks for your help, Ive decided to give it a whirl and see what happens, I know that some 2,4-d has a 30 day wait period before planting soybeans so that could have been BigBuds problem more so than the M-T-L 2. Just hope it all works out!
