Yesterday it was almost 75 degrees and Sunny, heavy due so I did not get to combine beans until noon. Today, heavy fog that hung on until after 9. Tried to go at 4pm but moisture in the beans was still 15%. After all of our late planting this harvest is going to be a real challenge..

Feel for you. We all have a year like that that just won't get done, can't try to forget it soon enough.

This pic is from 2013, I keep trying to forget that year......

Yep floods in late June and early July then almost no rain for the rest of July and Aug and Sept. Go from floods to drought and then not been as cool as it should be for this time of year.

Even my hobby farm was a bust this year. No rain in May when I needed the hay to grow, too much in June when it would have been ready to cut. Planted 3 acres of corn in May but so much rain in June couldn't cultivate. Now a mediocre crop is too wet to pick. Seems to be more and more rainy summers here for doing hay. At least I'm not doing it for a living like most of you guys. Still burns me to put that much work into something I like to do and get poor results back.
