NW Ohio crops

I went all the way down 127 on the west side of Ohio over the weekend. When you hear that they have some of the worst crops in the country, believe it. I've been down there in unbelievable drought years and the corn has looked better. Around Paulding,I'll bet at the very least,50% of the ground wasn't even planted. Corn from waste high to shoulder high, tasseled but no silk is the norm. Some beans look OK if this was mid June, but a lot are mostly flooded out if they were even planted. A lot of new tile going in.

Went up there to van wert for a tractor pull few months back looked pretty shakes then, went to school in Lima worked at hog farm saw a lot of really good yields up there back the. But id say this year is gonna hurt for em. Only place corn looked ok was directly over the tile lines when I was up

Randy: You also passed through Defiance county before you got to Paulding county. It has been in our paper 100,000 acres did not get planted in Defiance county plus another 100,000 look like you said. J.
