Flax

Hi folks

Neighbor has 100 acres in flax seed (I think that's what it is) has been building little blue flowers for a few days until this morning it was a very impressive blue carpet. But now 4 hours later there's not a blue flower is sight. Is this typical? I don't remember anyone growing his around here before.

Must be a to erasure related thing. This morning the filed is full of flowers again. Was really hot here yesterday.

Flax does that... Seem to remember being
told that flax flowers don't last very
long, a day maybe, each flower makes a PPD
(boll), so sometimes the field looks blue
and other times there is hardly a flower to
be seen
