feed corn for seed corn

I have about 40lbs of whole corn that I bought by accident at TSC the other day. I bought feed hole corn or have a grinder. If I plant this can I expect to get a silage type crop that my goats can graze? opinions please

I don't know why it wouldn't. Dad used to shell corn right out of the crib and plant it for silage corn. Only thing that there might be a remote possibility of,if it turns out to be Roundup Ready and the wrong folks find out,you can pay a heck of a price. I don't know how anybody would find out though.

Will not grow! It went through a drier, kills it, well very few will grow any way! Hence why the seed companys pick on the cob.

Bagged Milo feed sure grows. Don't know the process on it but where I feed wild birds I have a super stand of the stuff! Why not with corn? Try it. Soak it and plant it in a pot and within a week to 10 days you should have your answer. Pretty simple.
