Bean planting

Am I the only one with beans left to plant? I am down to 15 acres and it wont quit raining long enough to get them in. What a year! Begging for rain the end of April, I guess that shows you to be careful what you wish for.

Ha! I wish. I have 550 acres to plant. I am going to go out shortly and get some started. We've had just enough of a shower each day to make the top tacky. That doesn't work well with the liquid splitter seed firmers on a no till drill. I think the window is a little better for the next couple of days, so I will get many of the acres in. I did feel a little lucky as I got the 80 of milo in and sprayed with atrazine before a little shower.

What do you need web feet and a paddle?? I have gotten a bit of hay done but not much. Have all of 8 big rounds put up this year so far. Wish I had spent more time cutting when I could but can only ride on a tractor so long before I have to stop.
