no-till corn into sod

Looks like it's working out so far. Still trying to get
some 28 on it. Won't quit raining.

Don't know how to rotate photo, so just rotate head.

My uncle planted corn for silage the same way one year after taking an early haylage cutting.It was a year with enough moisture and that corn never stopped growing.It was a beautiful thing to see.
 
Some of the best corn and beans I have seen were done that way. You've locked a lot of beneficial moisture in by not opening up the soil. I assume some day it will stop raining enough to see that benefit.
 
I've done it before with my 333 Allis,but I have a heck of a time finding the mark from the marker.
 
Very nice. We will never plow sod again here since we've discovered how well no tilling into sod can work. Always our best corn. We've started doing it with beans as well and also like how they do.
