What to plant in eastern pa

Typically my tractors are toys around the yard and misc projects. But now I find myself with the tools and the land. I have a 2-16 plow and harrow discs for the 3pt on the ferguson to30. I have about 80'x400' field. Used to plant corn years ago with the new holland and 4' roto tiller but it's been unused for the better side of 10 years now.

Depends on what you want to do. With that partial acreage, I'd plant sweet corn, tomatoes or maybe potatoes, if you want a roadside stand. Could plant a cover crop of rye and come up with a plan next year.

its between properties, the owner died a couple years back and his wife doesn't care to do anything with it. We used to do sweet corn and let them pick at it when they wanted, but tilling with that little tractor was an all day job of hard labor for the machine. The ferguson should make short work of it though. I was thinking sweet corn as well but wasn't sure if there were better options. Have to do something about the deer too.

The stink bugs are bad on sweet corn. So, you will need to spray. We don't and just eat around the brown spots, but that won't sell. Potatoes need spray too. Heck, I
think everything does and might be getting worse. Weeds too, since they are all getting roundup resistant. Just my observations. Let us know.
