White 2800 row cultivator

Well in the last post you have me scratching my head. I ran across a white 2800. Seems to be built similar to a buffalo but appears to be built a little lighter. 6 -30. Late model 4020 handle it alright?

From the other post I see that you are in transition. What crop are you wanting to cultivate? Where are you located?

The reason I asked is that I am doing organic no-till. In my beans I use cereal rye, roll it and plant into it. Before the rolling I would prepare the seed bed drill in the beans heavy and rotary hoe it any time I started to see weed hairs until the beans came up, then they would soon canopy over. From what I am reading in corn you can plant the corn and over seed it with cow peas, both to feed the corn and suppress the weeds.

Have you ever used rye and hairy vetch then crimp rolled and planted corn into it? Currently looking at a 750 jd drill. When I'm organic I was going to try the rye as a cover roll it and drill soys.
