New wheat

How many of you have wheat out this year? I live around the greater Kansas City area and my wheat looks terrible. What does yours look like?

my cover crop seed is just settin in the ground, hasn't spouted at all.

When did you plant? I got my cereal rye in the last week of Nov. and its out of the ground, nothing to bragg about.

I'm in the Hesston-McPherson-Hillsboro area and most of the wheat around here looks pretty nice. There was some that went in kind of late (no-tilled into bean stubble) that doesn't have quite the growth you'd like going into winter but it's not terrible. A few of the very late sowed fields show no signs of emergence which is definitely not good. Both of the fields I know of in this condition are that way simply due to poor management.

I can't remember the date, but I know it was very late October.

I planted mine late but it is out of the ground. I might add a little something to it come spring. It's just a food plot.
