Wheat questions

Every year for the past three years I have
plowed a pasture under and re-seeded with a 5-
6-specie pasture mix of ryegrass, brome,
orchardgrass, (off the top of my head I cannot
recall the rest). This spring I put the same
mix down in one pasture and added some wheat
and alfalfa in small quantities. We had an
abundance of rain this year in central
Minnesota and everything (except the alfalfa)
came up really well. I did spray some pasture
pro on it this fall and the weeds are down to a
minimum.

Question: will the wheat that I seeded in come
back this coming year or is it done after one
season? Depending on any answers I get I will
decide whether or not to add some in next
year's pasture.

Wheat is an annual, probably in the mix to act as a cover crop for some of the others. You probably will get some wheat next year as the heads drop seeds and a small portion of those sprout. I wouldn't expect it to be much though.
