ear corn bin

I have a 1000 bushel ear corn crib. round Behlen bin. is the 1000 bushel include the roof or is that just to the top of the wire panels? any idea's? also, if it's 1000 bushel of ear corn, would that be around 800 bushels of actual corn?

The crib volume was probably calculated to the eave of the roof by the manufacturer, but, with the dimensions it is easy enough to calculate. 1000 bushels of ear corn is 1000 bushels of corn grain plus approximately 14,000 pounds of cobs, in other words, the cob is compensated for by the difference in bushel weight between ear corn and shelled corn, 70 ppb ear and 56 ppb shelled @ 15% moisture.
