Actually I finished beans over a week ago, but had 10 acres of drownout spots that I replanted to beans July 4th. Then we got the early frost September 14th and it hammered them bad.

The top 1/3 died, flat pods.

The middle 1/3 of the plant had very tiny poor beans in it.

The bottom 1/3 kept growing some, and filled out a few pods.

Put the bean head back on this afternoon and combined them. Hard to set the combine for that mess... Not good to combine 10 acres and almost get a hopper full, but it kept the weeds down....

Back to the corn tomorrow.
