This is my hoop house, the next one is me planting into existing cover crop. The next one is my no-til beans planted into rolled cereal rye and red clover, but dang that foxtail!

You can pick out the organic fields around here with the foxtail in the fields, just a tough one to get.

I will have some this/ next year, several of the corn fields got no grass control at all with all the rain. Will end up having to start over with the foxtail again.....

Crab grass is my nemesis this year. Both of my cow pea plots are loaded. However, the beans are still growing and looking good. Need to study up on pre-emergent herbicides for next year. My corn is pretty clean except at the end and outside rows.

We have used <a href="http://forages.tamu.edu/PDF/Pastora%20Label.pdf">Pastora</a> to control crabgrass.

It is very expensive locally at $35 per ounce.
