What are the populations most guys are planting on 14-15" rows? if I plant @ 2.8" in 14" rows I calculate around 160,000. Is that in the ball park?

That's about what I have been doing. Maybe run a little less than that. I think the range is 140 to 160.

My chart shows one every 4.3 inches in 14 rows to get 163,000 population.

160,000 is a good population to shoot for though.

With any row width and especially with drilled beans. If they look good when they come up, then you planted to heavy.
