Wind storm number 27....

Or 30, or I just lost count.

Broken over trees in the grove, the state highway needed to be cleared off, trees and many branches down in town.

TV antenna is laying on the roof, blown over.

Lawn looks like a war zone of twigs and branches.

Corn is badly flattened down, but it is only 6-8 inches high so I hope it will come out fine.

I really haven walked around yet, still raining, who knows what else I find....

We only just got cleaned up from the last 2 wind storms, the past 2 weeks, the brush pile was still smoldering yesterday. And I only cleaned off the yard, not into the grove.....

Bad part is they say this is the first wave, the one later this afternoon is the one to watch out for, with a couple inches of rain and hail possible. Then a third wave Sunday morning....

I should not complain, I actulally still get 2 channels on TV, and so far looks like nothing else got wrecked, very lucky. My grove is getting thin, as the thread below mentions, we have been getting these wind storms for 3 years, it is really busting up the trees....

I feel your pain, the wind here is bad also, it seems like broken tree limbs is a new way of life here. We have had a lot of wind damage on the corn around here also. People talk of a normal year, I have been on the farm for fifteen years now and can truly say that no two years have been the same.

I forget its not on this site, my location is on the other site I
frequent....

Southern Minnesota. new Ulm area to be real close.

Evening storm is just rain so far.
