The white stuff looks like Crab Grass to me dunno what the yellow flowers are other than buttercups

2-4D DB (The "DB" version is buffered) Should do what you want (kill the weeds and not the clover)

Doesn't look tall enough to be crab grass. Crab also has a different seed head. Can't help with the yellow plants.

I believe the white flower you have is ladino clover. It's hard to tell, but I'm wondering if the yellow flower is what we call around here "hop clover": Common name: low hop trefoil

The first pic being ladino and the second low hop trefoil.

I don't think it's a true trefoil. The only one I know is birds-foot and it is very low growing. This looks more like a lowland plant. I think I have seen it somewhere before. I can't find my wildflower book, but I'll keep looking.

The yellow stuff looks like buttercup. Creeping buttercup is by far the worst weed in my garden; before I met it I had issues with other things that I now consider hardly any trouble by comparison to that vile weed.

That middle photo looks like the fescue that is used for lawn grass. My first inclination was witch grass, but it isn't tall enough for witch grass.

Here in Missouri we call the "white stuff" White clover. Some call it white "hop" clover. It's a wonderful legume but definitely a cool season legume. It dies out in dry weather much like you describe. Only grows well in spring and fall. The grass pictured looks everything in the world like bluegrass to me. It would be headed out now and sure looks like it to me. I do not know what the yellow flowered plant is.

have not found out anything.
the yellow may be a type of buttercup, still dont know about the white stuff.
the white stuff is fine and very thick.

1st pic is yellow stuff and white ladino clover.
2nd is white stuff and couple of white ladino clover and k31 drilled in this spring.
3rd is yellow and white stuff.
4th is showing how much clover there is.

The yellow weed is buttercup. We never had them here in Louisiana until the early 1980's when farmers began to plant winter wheat on a pretty big scale. Now they are epidemic! Everyone thinks they came in with the wheat seed from years ago.
