I wondered why it took so much seed to plant my corn. It's just coming up and what was supposed to be 9.1" looks closer to 3". I thought maybe it was just dropping extra seed. Re-consulted the chart and I got the sprockets reversed. Looks like I'll be doing some thinning. I think that setting was left from last year planting cowpeas. Expensive lesson, but it's only money and the seed only cost around 60 bucks for what I used. I just plant conventional seed not RR. It was last years seed anyway so I'm glad it's gone. Looks like I got pretty good germination.
