Atrazine/Outlook

How long can Atrazine and Outlook (home mixed up like Guardsman Max) sit on the surface before a good rain without degrading? We missed the opportunity to get it on before the last several days of rain and now I'm going to catch the first chance to spray. But there are a few 30 and 40% days and otherwise clear, so I'm worrying myself that I won't catch a rain. Is there a rule of thumb of number of days that it can sit in the sun?

It can sit there a long time. Maybe 10 days.

Problem is any weeds that start during that time will less effected by the spray.

If it has been a while since you planted you may want to add a contact herbicide to kill the weeds that are up.

Adding crop oil may get the emerged weeds, with the atrazine, without a contact killer.

Thanks, I planned to add a quart of Glyphosate. Main worry was getting the rain but if 10 day window for activation then I should be fine.

man I wish I could count on rain every ten days the way it is right now I could be pretty sure it will rain at least once in the next ten months take care
